AutoStart Services, a growing consumer lending company is looking for an energetic, positive:
Service Assistant
The primary function is to assist with the safe operation of the mechanical repair shop by insuring that all vehicles are correctly serviced in a timely manner
Job duties include:
- Open repair orders on check- in automobiles both from customers and from log over’s.
- Answers telephone and assist customers.
- Assure that all safety regulations are being followed.
- Properly documents all repair orders, and delegate repair orders to mechanics.
- Assist with diagnosis of vehicles when needed.
- Test drive vehicles to insure repairs are done correctly.
- Test drive vehicles with customers for drivability concerns.
- Communicate with the Service Manager and Customer Care Center Manager to determine warranty items and decisions on problem vehicles including repairs over the amount set by management.
- Schedules all tow repairs.
- Repair vehicles when necessary.
- All other duties as required by management.
